Little America Hotel & Resort has purchased six of my watercolor paintings for their newly remodeled suites in Cheyenne. Their call for art states that they would "like to achieve a local feel with art that matches the history and culture of the city and state", and that they are interested in artwork that is "vibrant and contemporary, while incorporating elements of Western imagery." "What Big Ears" was the first piece selected, in addition to "Bull Elk", "Circle K Tack Shed" (all originals) and three watercolor landscape prints, "Vedauwoo", "The Laramie River" and "Misty Morning, Devil's Tower". I am grateful to the Holdings for deciding to use the work of Wyoming artists and to the Wyoming Arts Council for their assistance in the call for art. It is my understanding that they planned to select a total of twenty-five pieces, and am honored that six of my artworks were selected.
