Just finished this painting today for the Capitol Christmas tree art contest. Wyoming is furnishing the tree for Washington DC this year from the Bridger Teton NF. While camping out, I have seen some beautiful Wyoming night skies, and have always wanted to paint one. I had to use my imagination to do a lot of this, and was really excited about the process. Received word that my painting was one of the top ten. To vote for viewer's choice, go to www.capitolchristmastree.org

Just completed a commission for the Toledo Zoo, a watercolor of the Wyoming Toad, an endangered species. The zoo raises captive toad tadpoles, and releases them into the wild in Wyoming. Prints will soon be available at Artisans' Gallery in Laramie.

Submitted this painting, a full sheet watercolor, to the Rock Springs Wild Horse show. The landscape is seen from Windy Hill, 11,000 feet, overlooking Paradise Basin in the Wind River Mountains. The packer was carrying our gear to Steamboat Lake where we camped. Only a 14 mile walk.
